WE CARE ABOUT SELFCARE.
By definition selfcare is the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one's own health.
We created LAV LUX to remind people to take the best care of themselves (and the spaces they inhabit) possible. We hope our customers will add our goods to their selfcare routines and spaces. And for those who don't have a routine yet, we hope goods from our store will serve as a reminder to be good to and take care of themselves.
Our candles are a blend of apricot and coconut wax. This creamy white wax is all natural, vegan, gluten free, toxin free, paraben free, phthalate free, and responsibly sourced. Our fragrances are phthalate free and paraben free, products made this way have been proven to reduce health risks and be better for the immune system. We use wooden wicks because of their ability to create a fast melt pool which ensures a greater scent throw for the candles. In addition, wooden wicks create very little carbon build-up, sooting, and debris.
Our candles are designed not to take up space in your home decor. While they quietly crackle and have high scent throw, they have a clean minimal appearance.
We understand that a major part of selfcare is having an environment that supports your mental and physical wellness. With our space collection we have created and curated a number of items we believe are essential to the home.
All candles, bath, and wooden items are handmade in Austin, TX.
What if I don't like the item?
Merchandise refunds are offered up to 10 days after the delivery confirmation date.
Instead of returning items you can contact us for a full refund. Why? Returns are counter to our company's sustainability efforts as every return has a carbon footprint.
To start the refund process, you can contact us at email@example.com. Please email us what went wrong and send any applicable pictures. Upon receipt we will give you your money back in full. Then, if possible you can donate your product to a local charity or recycle it.

Exceptions / non-refundable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
We will notify you once we’ve approved your refund. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
What if my item arrived damaged?
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
How does shipping work?
We offer free shipping for all orders over $50.00 shipping to destinations in the United States. Shipping for U.S orders under $50.00 and all International order shipping is offered at a flat rate.
All customers will be provided a tracking number for their shipment upon the order being fulfilled. Please allow up to 2-4 weeks for delivery on select items.
